E30 Steering Rack Swap Kit

What do I need to swap a Z3 / E36 / E46 steering rack into my E30? 

Did your E30 come with an airbag from factory?

We have two swap kits available below depending on which type of steering linkage came with your car.

Airbag Version  /  Non-airbag Version

 

Power Steering Option?

You can either modify your E30 power steering lines to fit or make a custom set of AN lines.

If you want to delete the power steering, you can use our billet delete block found here.

Complimentary Modification - Replace your steering coupler

A great modification to do while you are working on the steering rack swap is to replace the rubber steering coupler. This part, when worn out, can cause mushy steering feel and even worse, they can tear and rip apart if neglected. Upgrading the rubber steering coupler to our solid version will eliminate all play in the steering column and you'll gain a more direct road feel. Our couplers can be found below.
