How to install Garagistic BMW Supreme Short Shifter - E30, E36, E46, etc. - K0413

Overview

This video will give you an overview of our Supreme Shifter and how to install in your vehicle. It is the same process as if you were replacing with a factory replacement Shifter. You want to be sure to replace related components to get the most out of the Garagistic Supreme Short Shifter. 

Do I need poly bushings? 

No you do not. You retain the factory carrier that has two bushings within itself and absorb and movement but it is highly recommended that your replace those bushings.

We offer poly, delrin, and aluminum carrier bushings that will further eliminate play but may introduce vibrations in the shifter. Aluminum bushings would introduce the most vibrations while delrin would be less and poly would be minor.

Do I need a DSSR?

No, you can reuse you factory selector rod but it could add side to side play. Our DSSR helps eliminate that side to side play.
